I am greatful for my family, friends, kids and husband. I am greatful for life and the things I take for granted! I am greatful for my trials and accomplishments. I am greatful for the feelings of hurt,pain, sadness, joy, happyness and love. Amen.

Thank you LDS for inviting me tonight. I forget what the activity was called but we had food, fellowship and card making activities. I've been to the releif society before but it wasn't as interactive. I really had a nice time. I'm not used to people being so nice. At first I was nervous and defensive. I was thinking, I really wish Shilowe was here (because her and Emmanuel are the only people I've gotten to know) I was thinking there was a motive behind the kindness but once I started talking to people, my mind was eased. It was nice to fellowship with other women who didn't judge me. I'm so used to arguing and fighting that it felt "wrong". I guess that's the meaning of not conforming to the things of this world and being transformed by the renewing of my mind. Please forgive me if I mess up or missed names of people at our table: Allison,Siera, Miss Molen, Sherise, Laura, Emily and the lady that's related to Jake (I think that's her husband or it might be her son, but she's short) really made me feel welcome. I don't think I will ever convert to another religion (I'm a Pentecostal Christian) but I like spending time with you all. Thank you!

Happy memorial day! I had a wonderful day with my family! It was very memorable for me and I will never forget it! I love my family!

Mother's Day

This weekend is mother's day. I would like to wish you all a happy mother's day! This week is hard for our family. It's Tony's 1st mother's day without his mother in all of the 37 years of his life. Hopefully our family dinner tomorrow will cheer him up. Death of a loved on is sooo hard.

my eventful holiday

Well next week is mother's day and our family dinner. All are invited for food and fun on Friday May 8th @ 7pm. Other than that, I've been busy decorating and fixing up the house. (decorating is what I love the most!) Slowly but surely, I'll have the house in order. My new goal is to redecorate my bedroom. Off white walls, black bedroom set and red and white bed in a bag. What do you think?
